At a glance
Funrize suits players who want low gift-card redemptions and a big slot library without installing an app. The trade-offs are unusual coin names, offers that vary depending on where you look, and a state list that reviews don't agree on, so confirm your state in its terms before buying anything.

How we score Funrize

Our verdict on Funrize
Funrize is a sweepstakes casino from A1 Development LLC, the company behind Fortune Wheelz and FunzCity. Its strengths are a low gift-card floor of 25 Promotional Entries, a 1x playthrough and more than 1,000 games. Its weak spots are that it has no app, support can be slow, and the welcome offers and state lists published about it don’t match each other. If it serves your state, it’s an easy way to try sweepstakes play for free.
Our hands-on test with a real account is still in progress, so there’s no AmeriSpin rating on this page yet. Everything below comes from reviews and guides dated September and October 2026, because Funrize’s own terms couldn’t be opened when we checked. Each source is listed at the end.
Welcome offer and free coins
Funrize uses its own names for the two coins. Tournament Coins (TC) are for fun only and can’t be redeemed. Promotional Entries (PE) are the sweepstakes coins: once played through, they can be redeemed for prizes at 1 PE to $1. If you’ve used other sweepstakes casinos, think Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. One review calls them that directly.
- Free on sign-up: 125,000 TC, according to TheLines and Sweepsy. You get 75,000 when you register and the rest after verifying your email or phone and completing your profile. Gambling.com and Sweepsy also report 1–2 free PE at this stage.
- Daily bonus: Gambling.com and Pokerfuse describe a daily wheel spin, unlocked after phone verification. TheLines describes a seven-day login calendar paying 0.2 PE a day on days one to six. Funrize may run both, or may have changed format.
- First purchase: optional and discounted, but the packs differ by source. Reviews report deals at $4.99, $24.99 and $49.99, with very different PE amounts. Treat any headline number as a guide and check the cashier before paying.
From a terms point of view, the useful part is the 1x playthrough. Some rivals ask for more, and 1x means a free PE you play once is ready to redeem.
Redeeming prizes
- Gift cards: from 25 PE, usually emailed within 24 hours.
- Cash: from 100 PE. Gambling.com reports about three days to a Visa or Mastercard, up to seven by PayPal and up to ten by bank transfer.
- Playthrough: each PE must be played once (1x). Tournament Coins have no playthrough because they can’t be redeemed.
- Identity check: expect to upload a government photo ID and proof of address before your first redemption.
One guide lists 100 PE as the only minimum in its summary box while giving 25 PE for gift cards in the text. Most sources agree on 25 for gift cards, so we use that.
Games and apps
Reviews count more than 1,000 games, mostly slots, plus live dealer tables. Named studios include NetGame, NetEnt, Betsoft, Nolimit City, Big Time Gaming, Red Tiger, BGaming and Booming Games, with live tables from Iconic21. Gambling.com notes there are no fish games or progressive jackpots.
There’s no native iOS or Android app. Recent reviews agree the site is built for mobile browsers instead, which works but means no push alerts or app-store ratings to judge it by.
Where you can play
Every 2026 source we checked lists Funrize as unavailable in Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Washington, West Virginia and Wyoming.
California, Indiana and Maine are also out for prize play. Pokerfuse (October 2, 2026) says those three plus Maryland are Tournament Coin only, while TheLines (October 27, 2026) lists them as fully restricted. All three ban sweepstakes casinos under state law anyway. Some reviews also add Utah and DC (TheLines, next.io) or Florida and Illinois (Sweepsy). These aren’t yet confirmed in Funrize’s own terms.
Oklahoma’s sweepstakes ban starts November 1, 2026. We found no Funrize announcement about it, but expect prize play there to end.
The map below shows where every state stands for Funrize today, including states that ban all sweepstakes casinos.
Is Funrize legit and safe?
- Who runs it: A1 Development LLC, which also runs Fortune Wheelz and FunzCity. Sweepsy dates the company to 2022.
- Free play: no purchase is needed, and there’s a free mail-in method for Promotional Entries, as sweepstakes law requires.
- Legal history: we found no 2026 reports of lawsuits or settlements involving Funrize.
- Responsible play: purchase limits, 24-hour and seven-day timeouts, self-exclusion and account closure. Raising or removing a limit has a 72-hour cooling-off period, which is a good safeguard.
- Support: chatbot and email. Pokerfuse notes replies can take up to 72 hours.
Why the numbers don’t match
Funrize is one of the harder casinos to pin down. Reviews published within weeks of each other disagree on the welcome pack, the daily bonus, the minimum age shown on banners (18+ versus 21+ at sign-up) and the state list. That usually means the casino changes offers often or shows different versions to different locations. Our advice is simple: read the offer in the cashier and the state list in the terms on the day you sign up, and screenshot both.
Terms worth knowing
- Sign-up asks you to be 21 or older, according to TheLines and Sweepsy.
- Tournament Coins can’t be redeemed for anything.
- Coins reportedly expire after 12 months with no gameplay (TheLines). Not yet confirmed in Funrize’s own terms.
- One account per person, and ID checks before prizes.
