What every sweepstakes casino we review gives you free on sign-up, with no purchase, checked against current sources.
The free sign-up offer at all 21 sweepstakes casinos we review, with no purchase needed. Checked against current sources on November 2, 2026. Only Stake.us may need a code; for the other 20, no code is needed.
Every sweepstakes casino has to let you play without paying. That’s what keeps them legal in most US states. So each one gives new players a free starting balance: Gold Coins (GC) for fun play, and usually some Sweeps Coins (SC), the currency you can later redeem for prizes. This page lists exactly what each casino we review gives you on sign-up, with no purchase.
Checked November 2, 2026. Offers change often, so treat this as a guide and always check the casino’s own page before you sign up.

Why they exist. US sweepstakes law says you can’t be required to pay to enter. So every sweepstakes casino offers free ways to get coins: a sign-up bonus, daily login bonuses, and usually a free mail-in request. You never have to buy anything.
Before you can redeem. Free Sweeps Coins usually need to be played through once (1x) before they count as redeemable, and every casino asks for ID verification before paying out a prize. Minimum redemptions vary a lot, from 10 SC for gift cards at some casinos to 100 SC for cash at others. Each review covers the details.
Where they’re available. Sweepstakes casinos are not open everywhere. California, New York, Connecticut, Montana, Oklahoma and several other states have banned or restricted them, and each casino adds its own exclusions. See sweepstakes laws by state.
Free coins after sign-up. Most casinos also give daily login bonuses, and many accept free mail-in requests for Sweeps Coins. See free coins and daily rewards.
Sweepstakes casinos are for adults: 18+, and 21+ at some casinos and in some states. Free coins are a good way to try a casino without spending anything. If you do buy coins, set a limit first, and see our responsible gaming page for tools and free help.
