At a glance

MegaBonanza is a tidy, slot-focused sweepstakes casino with low gift-card redemptions and a fair $9.99 first pack. Its owner group has been quick to leave states that pass bans, which protects players from being stranded but means the list keeps shrinking, so check yours first.

Great for

  • Slot players who want small gift-card prizes from 10 SC
  • Players who like a modest, low-cost first purchase ($9.99)
  • Anyone already used to McLuck or Hello Millions

Not ideal for

  • Players in the 19 states MegaBonanza excludes
  • Table-game fans: there are no RNG table games
  • Anyone who wants live chat without making a purchase

Pros

  • Gift cards from 10 Sweeps Coins
  • Simple 1x playthrough on Sweeps Coins
  • Exits banned states early and in an orderly way
  • Owner group runs several established brands

Cons

  • Closed in 19 states, more than many rivals
  • Live chat reportedly unlocks only after a purchase
  • Cash can take up to 10 days by bank transfer
  • Playthrough only counts on slots, not live dealer games

Our verdict on MegaBonanza

MegaBonanza launched in 2024 and comes from the same Estonian operating group as McLuck and Hello Millions, two of the better-known names in sweepstakes gaming. It’s a straightforward, slot-led site: gift cards from 10 Sweeps Coins, a low-cost $9.99 first pack, and a 1x playthrough. The main limit is reach. With 19 excluded states as of October 2026, it’s closed to more players than many rivals.

Our hands-on test with a real account is still in progress, so there’s no AmeriSpin rating on this page yet. We couldn’t open MegaBonanza’s own terms for this review, so the facts below come from dated 2026 reviews and news, each listed at the end.

Welcome offer and free coins

Like most sweepstakes casinos, MegaBonanza has two currencies. Gold Coins (GC) are for fun only. Sweeps Coins (SC) can be redeemed for prizes at about 1 SC to $1.

  • Free on sign-up: 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC, no code needed.
  • First purchase: $9.99 for 80,000 GC, 30 free SC and 30 free spins, according to Football365’s October 27, 2026 review. Earlier 2026 reviews describe a 150% first-purchase boost on bigger packs, so the exact deal changes.
  • Daily login: 1,500 GC and 0.2 SC every 24 hours, with a small extra reported for a seven-day streak.
  • Referrals: 30,000 GC and 15 SC per friend who signs up and makes a purchase.
  • Playthrough: Sweeps Coins must be played once before redemption, and reviews say only slot play counts.

The slot-only playthrough is easy to miss. If you play bonus Sweeps Coins on live dealer tables, that play may not count toward unlocking them.

Redeeming prizes

  • Gift cards: from 10 SC, usually within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Cash: by bank transfer from 75 SC. Gambling.com and one other source report a lower 50 SC floor in 2026; our most recent source still says 75 SC, so we use that until we can confirm.
  • Speed: bank transfers are reported at two to ten days.
  • Identity check: expect a government ID, a selfie, date of birth and a recent utility bill or bank statement. Reviews say the check usually takes one to two days.

Games and apps

MegaBonanza lists 800+ games from 30 to 40 studios, including Playtech, Booming Games, Playson, BGaming, 3 Oaks, Relax Gaming and Habanero, plus a few exclusive titles. There are around eight live dealer tables but no RNG table games, fish games or roulette.

Reviews disagree on apps. Most found no native app and point to the mobile site, which you can pin to your home screen. One October 2026 review reports an iOS app. We’ll settle this in our own test.

Where you can play

As of October 2026, reviews list MegaBonanza as not available in Alabama, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Washington and West Virginia. Some promotional disclaimers still leave Oklahoma off, but the main state lists include it.

Our state map below shows where every state stands today, including the states with full sweepstakes bans.

Leaving Indiana, Maine and Oklahoma

MegaBonanza has left states early when they pass a ban. On June 2, 2026, it added Indiana and Maine to its prohibited list, ending both Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin play there weeks before Indiana’s July 1 and Maine’s July 14 deadlines. That gave players time to redeem.

Its sister sites McLuck, Hello Millions, SpinBlitz and PlayFame have said they’ll leave Oklahoma on November 1, 2026, when that state’s ban starts. MegaBonanza itself already lists Oklahoma as excluded. If you still have Sweeps Coins on an account from one of these states, contact support about redeeming them.

Is MegaBonanza legit and safe?

  • Who runs it: LuminaryPlay Operations Limited, also known as B-Two Operations Limited, based in Tallinn, Estonia.
  • Group track record: the same group runs McLuck and Hello Millions, and it has consistently exited states ahead of bans.
  • ID checks: required before your first redemption, including a selfie.
  • Support: email for everyone; live chat is reported to open only after you buy a Gold Coin pack, which is unusual and worth knowing before you need help.

Terms worth knowing

  • You must be 21 or older.
  • Sweeps Coins need a 1x playthrough, on slots.
  • Live chat is locked until your first purchase, according to Gambling.com.
  • The Loyalty Lounge VIP program has six tiers, from Iron to Diamond.
  • Offers change often. Follow MegaBonanza on AmeriSpin to get an alert when this one does.

Redeeming at MegaBonanza, step by step

  1. Play your Sweeps Coins once on slots

Sweeps Coins need a 1x playthrough, and reviews say live dealer play doesn't count toward it.

  2. Verify your identity

Expect to provide a government ID, a selfie, your date of birth and a recent utility bill or bank statement.

  3. Choose your prize

Gift cards from 10 SC, or cash by bank transfer from 75 SC.

  4. Get paid

Gift cards usually arrive within 24–48 hours; bank transfers take from two to ten days.

MegaBonanza FAQ

Is MegaBonanza legit?

MegaBonanza is run by LuminaryPlay Operations Limited (also known as B-Two Operations Limited), registered in Tallinn, Estonia, according to 2026 reviews. That group also runs McLuck and Hello Millions. It verifies ID before redemptions. It isn't a licensed real-money casino, and whether you can play depends on your state.

Is MegaBonanza available in my state?

October 2026 reviews list 19 excluded states: Alabama, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Washington and West Virginia.

How do I redeem at MegaBonanza?

Play your Sweeps Coins through once on slots, complete the ID check, then request a gift card from 10 SC or a bank transfer from 75 SC. One review reports a lower 50 SC cash floor; we use the more conservative figure until we've confirmed it.

Does MegaBonanza have an app?

Reviews disagree. Most say there's no native app and you play through the mobile site, which can be added to your home screen. One October 2026 review reports an iOS app. Check the App Store before relying on it.

Do I need a MegaBonanza promo code?

No. The 7,500 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins sign-up bonus is added without a code.

Why did MegaBonanza leave Indiana and Maine?

Both states passed sweepstakes casino bans in 2026. MegaBonanza added them to its prohibited list on June 2, 2026, ahead of Indiana's July 1 and Maine's July 14 deadlines.
