Sweepstakes casinos in November 2026: Oklahoma's ban, state exits and the deadlines to know
October was a busy month for US sweepstakes casinos, mostly because of one state. Here’s what changed, and what’s still coming up in November.
Oklahoma’s ban is now in effect
Oklahoma’s sweepstakes casino ban, SB 1589, took effect on November 1, 2026, after lawmakers overrode the governor’s veto. Casinos that use a dual-currency model (Gold Coins plus redeemable Sweeps Coins) can no longer offer prize play to people located in Oklahoma.
Several of the casinos we review have now left the state:
- Baba Sweeps ended prize play in Oklahoma on October 21. See our Baba Sweeps review.
- High 5 Casino went offline for Oklahoma players on October 29. See High 5 ends sweepstakes play in Oklahoma.
- Stake.us let Oklahoma players use Sweeps Coins through October 30 and blocked all games from November 1. Players can still request redemptions of Sweeps Coins that already met the playthrough requirement. See our Stake.us review.
- McLuck and its sister site Hello Millions left Oklahoma on November 1, according to their terms. See our McLuck and Hello Millions reviews.
If you’re in Oklahoma and still have a Sweeps Coin balance anywhere, contact that casino’s support about your options, and keep screenshots of your balance and any messages.
Wow Vegas leaves Iowa
Wow Vegas ended Sweeps Coin play in Iowa in October 2026. Our Wow Vegas review has its full state list.
Deadlines still ahead in November
- November 30, 2026: Pulsz settlement. If you spent money on Pulsz or Pulszbingo in Alabama, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio or Tennessee in the covered periods, this is the last day to choose cash instead of Gold Coins, or to opt out or object. Details in our Pulsz settlement update.
Other legal action to watch
- Utah is suing prediction market Kalshi under the state constitution’s ban on gambling, and in October asked a judge to block it in the state.
- Michigan’s Gaming Control Board announced cease-and-desist letters to 33 unlicensed operators, including sweepstakes sites, in October.
Our Gambling Bill Radar tracks these as they move, and our sweepstakes laws by state page shows where every state stands today.
Free sign-up offers this month
We checked the free sign-up offer for all 21 casinos we review against current sources on November 2. You can find them on our no deposit bonuses page, with what each one gives you and whether you need a code (for almost all of them, you don’t).
